Margo and Gloria, I am so sorry to hear of Murray's death. Karolyn did tell me that he has been struggling, so his passing will provide him with rest and peace. It is always harder for those who love him to be left behind without him. Thinking of you both and praying that God now has Murray in his care.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Murray. We have been good friends for many years, going back to the early 60's. My first car insurance was with Murray. Every time we would meet we enjoyed our times together. Our sympathy is with the family.

I was saddened to hear of your loss in the paper. Murray was like a celebrity in the Grand Bay/Westfield area. I remember going to the Gault store when it was near the Hardware store and was actually was there when it unfortunately burned. My father (Leo Gallant) used to work for Murray as a young boy and always spoke highly of him and enjoyed being a friend with him later in life. I myself loved the stories your grampie used to write in the RV News telling of interesting stories around the Grand Bay/Westfield area. Hopefully you will find comfort in all the people that Murray touched with his caring and adventurous life.

So very glad we had the time together these past two summers - Murray held on hard - with great strength - A really good guy - Leonard Cohen says that "life is a three act play - the first two acts are wonderful but the third act could use a lot of work" To you and to all the family we are very much saddened to hear of Murray's passing.

Georgie and Joe Day posted a condolence
Margo - Joe and I were talking about "Franklin" (as Joe liked to call him) the other day. Was that a premonition? Joe will be so sad to hear of his passing. He is out of the country right now and so will not be able to be at the funeral. We both have so many wonderful memories of Murray. He always had a smile, a chuckle, and a smart remark such as - "if he knew he was going to live so long, he would have taken better care of himself". He packed a lot into his 84 years and he will be sadly missed. Georgie

Gloria & Margo, So sorry to hear about Murray's passing. We have many fond memories of visits with him when we would visit Saint John. Emily said whenever she sees a chickadee she'll think of him (she remembers feeding them at the Nature park with Mom and Murray when she was little). May all your fond memories always keep him close and know he'll be watching over you from above. With love and sympathy, Jocelyn, David, Matthew & Emily
