Very saddened to hear of Connie's passing. Her prominence in the village will be missed. I recall going to the post office and chatting with her. She thought I was a bit of a mischievous lad. I guess she had a great judge of character too eh. I always had a lot of respect for her. To which the saying comes to mind "It takes a village to raise a child" You all have a great circle of friends and a great community to lean on folks. Dont hesitate to do so. Take care and may God bless you all.

This is a time of sadness with the loss of your mother and my grandmother in the past week. It is also a time to remember and celebrate them. I remember as a kid being sent over to visit Connie when we visited Nann. I've been told I would always say "Fine. I'll go over there but I'm not talking to her." Of course, as soon as I got there I couldn't help but talk to her. She was always very nice to me. It was once said that we are all stories in the end and I believe that Connie and Nann are definitely good stories to be told for years to come. I'm very sorry for your loss. Sara
