To the family of Laura Macnamara: I was sorry to hear of Laura's passing. It is a little easier when she has lived a good long life and passed in her sleep. My mum Vera Hamilton often spoke of "Lara Mac" regaling stories of her younger days with her sisters and their friend and cousin "Lara". Vera's been gone 9 years now but she is still with me in my heart and I hope they will get together in heaven today. I've met Laura at Aunt Muriel's a couple of times and even gave her a ride from a reunion at Jones Creek a couple of years ago. She was a lovely lady. My sisters and I wish to send our condolences to all of your family at this time. Christine (Hutchinson)Shelley

We are sorry to hear of Laura's passing. There is a special rose for her with lots of baby's breath around it for all the hearts that she has touched in her lifetime. She sure touched the hearts in our family. We only knew her a short time at the Special Care Home but found her to be a very warm and caring person. She always had a smile that would light up a room,a smile that would brighten anyone's day. How could you not smile back ? We enjoyed sharing sour cream and onion chips with the girls. Each lady would have their own litle handful on a kleenex. Laura enjoyed a treat and always wondered if I had my quilt finished yet .She will be sadly missed by everyone and by the amount of company she had, it was easy to tell she was loved very much by her family. We will miss seeing the rest of her family as well.Laura was a very special person. You must all have special memories to cherish.... Ivan and Marj xoxo
