Obituary of Holly Kimberly Green

Holly Kimberly Green of Pocologan passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, surrounded by family. Born in North Head, Grand Manan on July 25, 1958, she was a daughter of Camilla (Guthrie) Brown and the late Malcolm Green. Holly worked as a bookkeeper and office manager, most recently at Olsen’s, and in her spare time enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her dogs. In addition to her mother, Holly is survived by two sons, Malcolm McKeown (Julie Messina) of St. Stephen, and Sheldon McKeown of Edmonton, AB; her grandmother, Mary Olmstead of Pennfield; brothers Tracy (Virginia) of Ontario, Trent of Saint John, and John of Alberta; sisters Tammy of Pennfield and Shonda of Grand Manan; half brothers Beverly of Lepreau and Andrew of Yarmouth, NS; a half sister, Bethany of Yarmouth, NS; the father of her children, Daniel McKeown (Brenda) of Miramichi; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Holly was predeceased by a son, Joey McKeown; and by a brother, Shane. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
