Obituary of Lillian Ethel Laderoute

Lillian Ethel (Davidson) Laderoute of Saint John, wife of Tom Laderoute, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Pembroke, Ontario on April 17, 1951, she was a daughter of Myrtle (Kidd) Davidson and the late Harold Davidson. Lillie was a very kind and forgiving person who loved singing, especially praise and worship music. In addition to her husband of 40 years and to her mother of Fredericton, Lillie is survived by her children T. Edgar Laderoute (Krista) of Pembroke, ON and Donna A. Chisholm (Jason) of Waasis, NB; grandchildren Matthew, Mackenzie, Ashton, and Brayden; three brothers, Ronald Davidson of Lincoln, Arnold Davidson (Laurie) of Geary and John Davidson (Diane) of Geary; four sisters, Joan Brace (Randy) of Waasis, Cathy Mallet (Jervais), Betty McCoy (Dan), and Elsie O’Neil (Michael), all of Geary; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Lillie was predeceased by a brother, William Davidson. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 2-9 PM. Visitation will then take place at the Praise Christian Fellowship, 110 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, at which time the funeral service will be held. Pastor Michael Orser will officiate. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John Seafarer’s Mission or to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
