Obituary of James Raleigh Belyea

It’s with great sadness that the family of James Raleigh Belyea announces his passing on April 24, 2018 at the SJRH, with his family by his side. He was born in Saint John, NB on June 26, 1932. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda (Randall); two Daughters Cheryl Belyea and Cathy-Anne Carpenter (Kelly) of Saint John NB; 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Katie Carpenter; and with his beloved brother Gerald, of lower Greenwich Hill. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Anne and Sister, Marjorie Dorcas. He loved music and played many instruments. His favourite was the accordion. He also enjoyed playing horseshoe, crib and pool. James Raleigh will be missed and anytime the sound of an accordion is heard his loved ones will remember all of their good times together. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425).
