Obituary of Timothy David Palmer

Timothy David Palmer passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 4, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving wife, Melissa, of 23 years by his side. Born in Saint John on January 9, 1967, he was a son of the late Stuart Leslie and Mary Elizabeth "Libby" (Power) Palmer. In addition to his loving wife, Melissa, Tim will be missed by his step children: Stephen (Justinna) and Julia (Harrison); two grand-daughters, Asia and Mollie; his siblings, Karen (Neil), Mike (Eileen), Dan (Debbie), Kathy (John), Sue (Bill) and Matt (Angie); his beloved cat, Duke; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Tim was a master carpenter who built many beautiful pieces that will live on as a testament to his fine craftsmanship. Tim was well known as a talented man with a kind and generous heart, often giving away his skills for free. His unique sense of humour and stories were always a great source of entertainment. His contemporaries often commented that they had never met a man with such skilled hands, making him very much in demand for high end projects throughout New Brunswick and beyond. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Webb and the staff of the Grand Manan Hospital and those at 5A North, Cardiac Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425). Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 2-6 pm at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, and at North Head Baptist Church from 6-8 pm on Sunday, April 8, 2018. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held from North Head Baptist Church, 210 Rte 776, Grand Manan on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
