I just wanted express my sympathy on the passing of Bob McCarthy. I only met him once or twice, but he really impressed me as a friendly gentleman. My mother, Marion Long, lived in Fairville, either next door or downstairs from the McCarthy family. I often remember her speaking of "dear little Bobby McCarthy".
