Obituary of Matthew Allen Thomas Sullivan

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Matthew Allen Thomas Sullivan announces his unexpected passing; which occurred on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Matthew was born on August 17, 1996 and was a son to Charles Allen and Alexandra Lee (Ljungstrom) Sullivan. Matthew was recently released from the Canadian Forces in Kingston, Ontario to begin a new educational opportunity in his hometown of Saint John, NB. He enjoyed success as a member of the SJHS swim team, reveled in the time he spent with friends, his time in the Reserves and he loved his beach walks with his dogs. Matthew will be missed by his family; brothers, Gregor, Davis and Kiefer; as well as his grandparents, Ruth and Charles Sullivan and Linda and Bertel Ljungstrom. Although there will be no funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation; which will be held at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Canadian Mental Health (Saint John) or MindCare NB.
