Obituary of Scott Arthur Parker

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Scott Parker, husband to Lori (Kay) Parker, announces his passing which occurred on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 17, 1962 and was the only son of the late Earle and Doris (Horton) Parker. Scott was a country boy. His spare time was spent hunting, fishing and watching his favourite hockey team, the Boston Bruins. He appreciated the beauty of his surroundings, his view of the Saint John River never got tiresome. Above all, he loved his family, especially the time he spent with his only grandchild, Bryson. Scott will be dearly missed by his family, his wife Lori, their children: Adam (Caitlin Gamblin) Parker, Cameron Parker and Marisa Parker, his only grandchild Bryson, his siblings: Linda (Ken) Gray, Sandra (Les) Short, Jill (Brian) Galbraith, Donna Thompson and Lori (Dale) Russell, and his aunt Audrey Arbuckle, along with several nieces, nephews and members of his extended family. Besides his parents, Scott was predeceased by his sister Carol. Arrangements are in the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-4725) where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 22 at 11:00 am from the Church of the Resurrection, 20 MacDonald Ave, Grand Bay – Westfield. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
