Obituary of Joan Katherine Mullen

After a long and commendable fight with cancer, mom passed away peacefully on June 16, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice with her family by her side. She was born on August 17, 1939 in Saint John to the late William and Lena (Arseneau) Oram. Joan was the youngest of 6 children. Joan is survived by her three children: Kathy (David) Palmer, Krista Mullen (John Colwell) and Donald Mullen (Beth Whitney) as well as her beloved grandsons, Nickolas Mullen and Daniel Bond. She is also survived by her sister Rose (Harry) Galloway from Ottawa, ON. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Edward, her parents and her siblings Jerry, Shirley, Mary and Billy. A Memorial Service will be held at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 PM, with visitation from 12:00-1:45.
