Obituary of Eva Marion Ogden

Eva Ogden passed away on May 29, 2016 at Oromocto Hospital. Born on May 2, 1914 in Hoyt, she was a daughter of the late John and Dora (Kirkpatrick) Wooden. Surviving are her children, Constance (Murray) Graham, Fredericton Junction; Jean (Melvin) Mersereau, Saint John; Robert (Lois) Ogden, Hoyt; Leonard (Lise) Ogden, Riverview; Douglas Ogden, Nackawic, Rodney (Suzanne) Ogden, Grand Bay and Sharon (Bruce) Smith, Squamish, BC; sister, Dorothy Tower, Quispamsis; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Purley Ogden; granddaughter, Bonnie Graham; grandson, Jeffery Ogden; brothers Irvin Wooden and Albert Wooden and sisters Pearl Phillips, Marjorie McKenna, Doris Rice and Geraldine Charlton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Ogden. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Wirrel Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Eva may be made to the I.W.K. Foundation.
