Obituary of Kathleen Marie Williamson

With sadness, we announce the death of Kathleen Marie Williamson, which occurred on April 9, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Kay was born March 24, 1921 at Connell, N.B., the daughter of the late Owen and Clara (Waters) Birmingham. She was the wife of the late George Donald Williamson for 71 years. She lived and worked in N.B. and Massachusetts. After her retirement from hairdressing, she worked as a volunteer at the Saint John Regional Hospital, accumulating over 8500 hours. She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on April 16 at 2 PM at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home Chapel, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425 /www. BrenansFH.com). Interment will follow at Wesley United Church cemetery in Brown’s Flat. As per Kay’s request, there will be no visitation. For those who wish, remembrances to either the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
