Obituary of William Murray Lattimore

Bill passed away peacefully on February 16, 2016 with his wife Sandra, daughters, Kim and Karen and son-in-law, Malcolm by his side. Born on February 3, 1941 in Saint John and was the son of the late Donald and Ruth Lattimore. Bill worked for over 30 years in the car service industry and operated Lattimore’s Irving Service Station at Tilton’s Corner. He was a 50 year member and Past Master of the Carleton Union Lodge, a member of Luxor Temple Shriners and other Masonic associated bodies. Bill was also a Past Patron of Philip A. Jerguson Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Bayswater Summerville United Church. Bill for many years loved to work and maintain his grounds in Bayswater, always having it freshly mowed for the weekend and making sure the driveway was plowed and cleared in the winter and always made sure the Kubotas were kept polished. He looked forward to his daily visits from his canine friend, Howie. Surviving are his wife of nearly 55 years, Sandra; daughters, Kim Doyle (the late Stephen), Grand Bay-Westfield; Karen St. Onge (Malcolm), Bayswater; granddaughters, Lindsay Cyr (Jason), Sara MacDonald (Ryan), grandsons, Scott Doyle (Sarah), and Sean Doyle (Olivia) and the joys of his life, his great grandchildren, Katie, Cameron and Levi. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Mary and father-in-law, Ralph Dick. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425).Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2-8 pm. At Bill’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation and private family interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Heart Function Clinic, Saint John, or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
