Obituary of Theodore Wilmot Matchett

Ted Matchett of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Kelly (Markee) Matchett, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on July 1, 2015. He was born on October 12, 1960 in Newcastle, NB, son of the late Sydney and Arvilla (Brown) Matchett. Ted loved his sons, family and friends, he loved to sing and was a former member of Southern Gospel groups "The Ascensions", "For the Cross" and "Kings Four". Surviving besides his wife Kelly are sons, Timothy Matchett (Jocelyn Webber) of Fort McMurray, AB, and Cody Matchett of Caronport, SK, three sisters, Nancy Popovich (Charlie King), Millie Stewart (Don), Judy Proctor (Kier), three brothers, Earl Matchett (Alice), Sonny Matchett (Phyllis) and Scott Matchett (Sharon), all of Moncton, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Roger Matchett. Resting at Kings Way Assembly, 7 Kings Way Drive, Quispamsis, with visiting on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and Sunday 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Kings Way Assembly at 11:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow the service. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. The arrangements have been entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kings Way Assembly for the Squire Drive Playground. Take exit 141 for NB-119 toward Quispamsis/Kingston Continue on Gondola Point Arterial/NB-119 N. through street light. Turn right onto Chamberlain Road Turn left onto McEachern Road Drive to Kingsway Dr.
