Obituary of Doreen Mary Brooks

With heavy hearts the family of Doreen Mary Brooks, announces her passing on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Kings Way Care Center. Born on February 28, 1949, in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Irene (McPhee) Haynes. Doreen was employed as an ambulance attendant for the Town of Quispamsis for several years and finished her career as a caregiver for seniors. She was a member of St. John Ambulance. Doreen enjoyed playing cards and loved her cats. Survived by her siblings; Roland Haynes (Patricia) of Quispamsis, Michael Haynes (Nicole) of Saint John, Frances Sharkey (Louis) of Sussex, and Ed Haynes of Quispamsis, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, William Brooks, and her sister Eileen Adair. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Kings Way Care Center, would be appreciated.
