Obituary of Robert Arthur Asselstine

With broken hearts we announce the death of Robert "Bob" Arthur Asselstine of Kingston, NB, husband of Maureen "Moe" Asselstine, occurred on Monday, January 26, 2015 at his residence. Born in Saint John, NB on August 3, 1942, he was a son of the late John and Edwina (McLeod) Asselstine. Bob was employed for more then 30 years with Irving Lubricant until his retirement. Bob was a volunteer with the Long Reach Fire Department. Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his sons; Rob (Spring), and Tim (Kim) both of Kingston, daughters; Susan Graham (Robb) of Alma, Tanya Wilson (Lawrence) of Kingston, NB, and Michelle Asselstine of Saint John, NB, brothers; John, William and Charlie Asselstine, sister Dawn Healy, grandchildren; Ben, Alyssa, Kamryn, Brooke, and Robert, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Gail (Wilson) Asselstine, brother Alfred and sister Eleanor. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Friday, January 30 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, January 31 at 11:00am. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
