Obituary of Baby Axel Gene Banks

Surrounded by the love of his family, baby Axel Banks passed peacefully at home on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the age of 8 weeks old. Axel was born on September 14, 2024, to his loving parents, Ashley Guzzwell and Aaron Banks.

Although Axel’s time on this earth was short, he left a huge impact on his family. Besides his parents, Aaron and Ashley, he will be remembered as the baby brother to Autumn and Adrian Banks; and will be lovingly remembered by his Nanny B. and Pappy, Margot and Mike Banks; Nanny G. and Poppy, Debbie and John Guzzwell; aunts and uncles: Angela Banks (Richard Saulnier), Lisa Banks (Patrick O’Reilly), Leanne Guzzwell, and Sara Guzzwell; and cousins: Audrey, Molly, and Cecilia March, Reign and Marlee Foley, Adonis and Erika Banks, and Destini Cardinal.

The family would like to take this opportunity to show their thanks and appreciation to Saint John Extra Mural and the doctors, nurses, and staff of the IWK for their care of Axel.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 12 to 1 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held in Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.

Axel will always remain his parents’ precious baby boy and Autumn's and Adrian’s little brother, and they will hold him again in heaven one day.
