Obituary of Jamie Michael Langille
It is with profound sadness that the family of Jamie Michael Langille of Saint John announce his passing on October 1st, 2024 at the age of 44.
Jamie is survived and will be greatly missed by his father: Ronald Langille, siblings: Jennifer Langille, Ronnie Langille & Jessica Langille, grandparents: Ronald and Dena Langille & Edward & Mary Langille, children: Skylar, Destiny, & Tyler, many nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his Street Team SJ family.
Jamie is predeceased by his mother Kathy Langille & grandmother Diane (Cox) Carr.
Jamie was born on September 7th, 1980 and was raised for most of his childhood in the South End of Saint John. Jamie was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1386 and worked as a scaffolder. He is remembered by his childhood friends as having a huge heart, leadership skills and a passion for all sports – playing senior league baseball, soccer, and ball hockey to name a few. He also loved to play “door ball” a game him and his friends created in the lower school ground at SJBKE. His siblings have fond memories of Jamie playing baseball and can remember watching him play “door ball” with his friends for hours. He let his leadership skills and drive to never give up shine though every team he was on. Later in life Jamie faced many obstacles and challenges but his kind heart and drive to never give up stayed with him. He wasn’t the kind of person to let his challenges stop him regardless of what he was going through. He was very polite and friendly, unbelievably resilient, and would always have a smile on his face. He was well known for his positive attitude, contagious laugh and kind soul. He left a lasting impression on everyone that knew him and will be missed by so many.
