Obituary of Rose Violet Haley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rose Violet Haley announce her passing, which occurred on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Bobby’s Hospice.  Rose was born in Saint John on December 3, 1964, to George and Bertha Gallagher.

Rose held many jobs over the years at the hospital, Crosby’s and RMH.  However, her favourite position of all was being a mother and grandmother.

She will be remembered by her husband, Stephen; loving children: Joe (Jessica) and Candace (Greg); adored grandchildren: Liam, Sophie, Greer, Logan, Charleigh and Ace; siblings: Jackie, Evlyn, David, Etta and Ethel; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her siblings: Earl, Linda and Jack.

The family would like to thank the special doctors, nurses and staff at Bobby’s Hospice for taking such great care of Rose and for all their support and kindness.

Arrangements are under the care and directions of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424).  There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
