Sorry to say I just heard about Suzanne today. I met her at the aquatic center many years ago, we spent many mornings jogging in the pool. Suzanne was a wonderful person, easy to talk with, so many stories a joy to know. Please accept my deepest condolences, I'm sure she will be missed by all who knew her.

Your Mom and Dad were always our most strident and strongest supporters and friends. I was so sad to see this difficult news tonight as I always enjoyed Suzanne’s perspectives and advice. Her happy positive tone kept me going throughout many dark and stormy campaigns and I will forever be grateful for their friendship. We are richer as a society in NB because of the love and care for our community selflessly offered by Suzanne and Walter. Rip ♥️ with my deepest sympathies, P.

I’m terribly saddened to hear of Suzanne’s passing. I worked with her for ten years at WorkSafeNB. She was a fabulous coworker and mentor. While always a consummate professional, she was also a lot of fun – whether we were having dinner at an event or paddling a canoe down the St. Croix River. She taught me most of what I know about law and the way it works, and was always encouraging myself and others in our profession. Suzanne’s death marks a massive loss to her family, friends and all who were lucky enough to know her. God Bless you, Suzanne!

Dear Tzigane, Spencer, Conrad and family. My condolences with the great loss of Suzanne. I was lucky enough to have known Suzanne, as well as worked with her, for many years. Suzanne was kind, considerate and empathetic, and in her professional work, exceedingly diligent and thorough, while always focused on fairness and equity. I have many fond memories of chatting with her about the news of the day and the latest political issue, on which she was always ready to engage! I hope that the many wonderful memories of her and her strong spirit, help you in your grief. Hugs, Jake

Suzanne was an inspiring co-worker, with whom I had the pleasure of working for many years prior to her retirement from the securities commission. I always enjoyed her travel stories, her willingness to teach and guide as I began my work with the Commission, and I continue to be touched by the appreciation and love she showed for people around her. My thoughts and condolences go out to her family.

My deepest condolences to my dear niece,Tzigane & nephews, Conrad & Spenser on your beloved mom’s passing.
She was “one of a kind” for sure.
Just a little incident to exemplify!
Years ago when we were both young, married girls we were signing in for bridge lessons at the YWCA in SJ. When Sue gave them her name as Suzanne BALL she was asked if she was related to Walter Ball who was very well known in the city at that time.
Her quick & indignant response was “BY MARRIAGE ONLY!! Always her own woman!!

My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. I worked with Suzanne for a few years leading up to her retirement. I can still see her cracking boiled eggs in the staff room kitchen for her afternoon snacks. Her door was always open and she frequently shared the adventures she travelled, or stories of her family's travels. Her warmth and sparkle still greatly influences those who worked with her.

I am deeply saddened by Suzanne’s passing and extend my sympathies to her family, large circle of friends and former colleagues with whom she worked and mentored over many decades. Suzanne was instrumental in the establishment of the New Brunswick Securities Commission, being one of the triumvirate who drafted a report and legislation that lead to its establishment. Suzanne was extremely focussed and no one worked harder. She never, ever complained. Her laughter was infectious, attracting others to her. She was a natural, empathetic leader with varied and unique interests, like overseeing elections in new democracies or parenting forlorn rescue dogs. Suzanne will be missed but we will all have some wonderful memories.
