Obituary of Ronald Harry Lockhart

It is with broken hearts that the family of Ronald H. Lockhart, husband of the late Shirley (Mason) Lockhart announces his passing which occurred on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the age of 92. Born April 4, 1932, he was the son of the late Percy and Sadie Lockhart.

Ron leaves behind his five children, Stephen (Margie), Carla, Paul, Krista Foster (Sean), Ronald; grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie (Adam), Courtenay (Tyler), Isabelle, Matt, Alex, Ben and Maddie; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ryder, Hudson, Lennox; brother-in-law, Doug Mason (Valerie); brothers, David, Gordon (Ferne), Kenneth; sisters, Mary, Gloria; sister-in-law, Helen; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his brothers, Russell, Walter, Doug, and his sisters, Audrey, Rose and Marjorie.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held from the Brenan’s Chapel beginning at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
