Obituary of Linda Lucille Walker
It is with much sadness that the family of Linda Lucille Walker announce her sudden passing which occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Born in Saint John on November 13, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Glenna and Eugene Belyea.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John, and together they created a wonderful life along with their two sons, Jeffery (Cindy) and Jason (Sue); five granddaughters, Laura, Natalie, Maggie, Amy and Caroline and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
Linda had a great career that she loved and began working at IBM and Canada Permanent. She finally ended her career at Royal LaPage Atlantic as an Administrative Manager of 25 years.
Over the years, Linda enjoyed lots of fun times with friends and family, who were all touched by her kindness, thoughtfulness and wit. She enjoyed her church, serving as a Sunday school teacher in her earlier years and loved her time spent singing in the church choir. She and John enjoyed time spent travelling, but none as much as her time spent over the years at Long Island, The Craft House, Bellisle and finally Big Cove Cambridge Narrows. The latter being her favourite place of all and where Linda and John made their home.
Linda is additionally survived by her brother, Paul; sister, Kim and several special cousins and nephews. Linda will be missed greatly.
Her family wish to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Loch Lomond Villa for their care of Linda over the past few months.
