Obituary of Dawn Marie Hall

It is with great sadness and shock that the family of Dawn Marie Hall of Saint John announce her passing, which occurred on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on July 25, 1947 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel (Kierstead) Quinn.

Dawn always had a special place in her heart for Patrick Swayze and the movie Dirty Dancing was her absolute favourite.  She enjoyed evenings at the Imperial, watching old movies and in her earlier years she loved to bowl.  Dawn often shared stories about her work adventures at Eastern Bakeries and Kimberly-Clark.  She will be greatly missed.

Dawn will be forever lovingly remembered by her siblings, Joanne Nason (Ozzie), Terry Given (Jack), Larry Quinn (Lynda) and Pam Quinn (Alfred Poirier); special niece, Erin Quinn; as well as many other nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Warren Quinn.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date.
