Obituary of Doreen Arsenault

The death of Doreen Arsenault, wife of the late Joseph Arsenault, occurred on September 1, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Hugh and Roxanna Jane (Dibble) Duffy. She is survived by her sons Bill (Shelley) of Dartmouth, Kevin of Saint John; daughters Gail (Steven) Dow of Saint John, Karen Arsenault of Saint John, Rosemary (Chris) Roberts of Dartmouth; grandchildren Joseph, Jeffery, Michael, Sonya, Susannah, and Catherine; great grandchildren Steven, Autumn and Josh. Doreen will also be remembered by David Dibble as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doreen was also predeceased by her daughter Patricia and siblings Errol and Thelma. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption, with the interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at 4B South, Saint John Regional Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mom during her stay.
