Obituary of Gary Girouard

The death of Gary Thomas Girouard, companion of the late Debra Ann O'Reilly occurred on September 30, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on February 1, 1953 he was the son of the late Roy and Pauline (McLaughlin) Girouard. Gary will be remembered by his daughter Natalie and his son Sean. He will also be missed by Theresa and Brian, as well as other extended family and friends. Gary was born and raised in Saint John, he worked at various jobs including Kent Lines, the Canadian Coast Guard, and in his later years at Harbour Station. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #2. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Assumption. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, and reception at Theresa's home. Sean would like to thank the staff of Saint John Regional Hospital 5C south for the care Dad received.
