Obituary of John Kingston

Kingston, John Raymond Dad passed away today peacefully, in his sleep, at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on April 07, 1925, loving husband of the late Shirley Kingston and proud father of his three sons, Gary (Linda), of Grand Bay-Westfield, Jim and Steve (Millidge Avenue). He was a brother to Harold and Murray and predeceased by Marion, Eileen, Ronnie, Kevin, Michael, Billy and his parents. He was retired from Moosehead Breweries and was a hard worker and good provider. He was an avid baseball and hockey fan always supporting his sons when they played. He loved his home and remained there after the death of his beloved wife. He was strong, quiet and rarely complained. He will be missed. There will be no visitation and arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701). A private family graveside will be held on October 17, 2011. Donations, in memory of John, may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
