Obituary of Regina Wright

Wright, Regina Henrietta (nee Robichaud), formerly of 357 Greenhead Road , passed away peacefully at her residence, The Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home, on February 5, 2014. She will be reunited into the loving arms of her husband Freelon (1977), and son Peter (2013), parents John Baptiste & Sylvia Robichaud, brothers Art and George Robichaud, sisters Bertha Patterson and Christine LeBlanc. She is survived by her adoring children: daughter Donna Buffett (Hal), son Jamie (Linda), son Philip (Lisa), daughter Paula Theall (Glendon), son Tony (Carolyn), son Shawn, and daughter-in –law Kathy; 16 grandchildren: Scott, Jay, Kelly, Maryse, Shawn ,Todd, Cory, Kyla, Paul, Robyn, Rebecca, Glen, Josh, Paige, Matthew and Alyson, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters Theresa Teal (Stu) and Mary Ann Robichaud, and many nieces and nephews. Regina was very active in her St. Rose Church. In her younger years she was a passionate, well known local actress winning awards and was also very committed to the Liberal Party for whom she worked tirelessly. She truly made the world a better place and was a comforting light to anyone and everyone who crossed her path, always willing to lend a listening ear with a warm caring heart. She loved her family without reservation and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received at Castle Funeral Home Lancaster Ave on Sunday Feb. 9, 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Rose Church, Monday Feb. 10, 12:00 noon. Reception to follow at Denis Morris Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home.
