Obituary of Roberta McLaughlin

McLaughlin, Roberta “Elaine” Passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 11, 1961 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Robert Ferris and Barbara (Galbraith) Ferris. She will be sadly missed by her fiancé, Derik Comeau; son, Bradley Comeau; three daughters, Shelley McLaughlin (Wayne Harris), Sara (David) Van Dijk, Stacey (Phillip) Onyeagolu; two brothers, Danny Ferris (Brenda Flynn) and Robert (Ethel) Ferris; two sisters, Maxine (Danny) Albert and Pam (Kevin) McLaughlin; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and all of her runaway children. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Manchester Avenue. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Church. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
