Obituary of David Knox

Mr. David Ivan Knox passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 17, 2013. Husband of Joan Marie (McDevitt) Knox. He was born in Saint John, on May 5, 1934, a son of the late Ernest and Bertha May (Wetmore) Knox. David served in the military until he retired. He is survived by his wife Joan Marie (McDevitt) Knox, two daughters Heather M. Christie of Etobicoke Ont. And Debbie L. Purves of Barry’s Bay Ont.; one sister Mary of New Denmark NB; four grandchildren, one great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. In respect of David’s wishes there will be no Visitation or Funeral service, cremation will take place. Donations made to the charity of donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
