Obituary of B. Patricia Berry

Surrounded by her family the death of Patricia Berry, wife of the late Malcolm G. Berry occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1926 in Arlington, MA to the late Vernon and Jessie (Carson) Frame. Patricia worked as a purchasing agent for the Saint John General/Regional Hospital for many years. She was a member of St. John Baptist (Mission Church) and St. Clement. Patricia was also a member of the Lancaster Speed Skating Club. She enjoyed the Branch 69 Legion Sunday Dances, gardening, cooking and was faithful to the Remembrance Day Service. Patricia was a well liked, outgoing, selfless person who always put others before herself. She is survived by her sons: Malcolm D. (Rev. Canon) his wife, Holly (nee Hatty) of Oromocto and Douglas of Saint John; grandchildren: Alexander (Alexandra), Johanna (Graeme), Colin (Danielle) and Lesley-Anne; great-grandson, Emmett; sister, Eleanor Burns; brother-in-law, Bruce McFarlane; good friend, Lubin Jecmenica and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her husband; parents; brother, Arnold and sisters: Marion Ruth Frame (SCIC) and Emily McFarlane. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. John Baptist (Mission Church) and St. Clement Church, 815 Millidge Avenue on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Oak Point Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Mission Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
