Obituary of Clarence Joseph Basque

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Clarence Joseph "Buddy" Basque of Saint John, loving husband of Claudette (Basque) Basque, which occurred on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Buddy was born in Tracadie-Sheila on April 13, 1939, and was a son of the late Peter W. and Yvonne Basque. Buddy was a great part of his community and will be missed by many. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Sheri) and Leonard (Shelley); three daughters, Debbie Bustard (Dwayne), Yvonne, and Laura (Billy Gillies); five sisters, one brother, seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Buddy was predeceased by a daughter Doreen (Billy Porter) and by three brothers. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Buddy est précédée par une fille Doreen ( Billy Porter) et de trois frères .Repos à la Maison funéraire Brenan , 111 Paradise Row , Saint John ( 634-7424 ) , avec la visite , le mardi 21 Janvier , 2014, contre 2-4 et 7-9 PM . Le service funèbre aura lieu le jeudi 23 Janvier 2014, au 14:00 de la chapelle de Brenan . L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Saint- Joseph .
