Obituary of Robert L. J. Cardinal

The unexpected death of Robert Cardinal, life partner of Teresa Cavan occurred at his residence on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Robert was born on September 1, 1954 in Montreal, QC to Remi Lacert and the late Lillian (Cardinal) Lacert. Robert was the owner and operator of Precision Concrete for many years until a disability forced him to retire seven years ago. Robert can best be described as "a breath of fresh air", he was a kind and loving man enjoying time his family and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Besides his life partner, Teresa; Robert is survived by his sons: Carlos and Danny; daughter, Catherine; sisters: Christian and Monique; step-children: Amy, Justin and Zack; good friend, Anthony Edison and his family and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by his boy, Lucky the Australian Shepherd. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
