Obituary of Mario Vlamakis

It brings me great sadness to be writing this message in memory of my younger brother, Mario 'Mar' Vlamakis. My brother was compassionate, openminded, and charming. Mario has two loving parents who will miss him endlessly. My parents opened up the doors to the world, and Mario leaped through them overjoyed. In addition to loving parents, Mario has countless other family members who have always reached out to him. There are many others who will miss my brother. Of course, our extended family, and the gracious people of Saint John who have taken our family and made us feel welcomed and loved. I know they feel just as deeply saddened as we do. I will never forget my brother and all the memories we made together. My other half has moved on to greater adventures. Without a doubt in my mind, I know he is at peace, watching over me, and everyone else who has influenced his life. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 11:00 AM.
