Obituary of Marjorie Doreen Carson

With her family at her side the death of Marjorie Carson, wife of the late Albert Carson occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2013. She was born on October 5, 1921 in Saint John to the late Albert and Florence (Davis) Peacock. Marjorie worked at Reitman’s for many years retiring as store manager. She was a loving wife and mother, she devoted a lot of her time to her family. Marjorie was a 40 year Breast Cancer survivor. Marjorie is survived by her son, David Carson of Lower Greenwich; one daughter, Nancy Gallagher of Saint John; grandchildren: Thomas Gallagher and Jennifer Wilkins (Jason); great- granddaughter, Josie Wilkins and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; parents and sisters: Gwendolyn Oxton and Evelyn Bursey. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
