Obituary of G. Francis Quinn

Surrounded by his loving family the death of Frank Quinn, husband of Theresa (Tobias) Quinn occurred on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Bobby’s Hospice. Frank was born on March 14, 1936 in Saint John to the late Francis and Claire (Reid) Quinn. He worked as a Clerk of the Stores for Rothesay Paper for many years until his retirement. Frank was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish and a former Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Frank loved to bowl, go fishing and sing Irish songs. Above all he was a loving grandfather, devoting his retirement to his grandchildren. Frank is survived by devoted wife of 54 years, Theresa; sons: Richard (Laurie), and Jeffrey; daughters: Francine Quinn, Catherine Abric (Randall), Beth Quinn and Christine Doughty (Michael); Papa to: Alexander (Heather), Nicholas, Katie, Ashley, Benjamin, Zachary, Sarah and Kylie; brothers: Joseph and Edward (Carol); sister, Ellie Nickerson (John); sister-in-law, Linda Gautreau and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Claire Quinn and brother, Norman Gautreau. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 2:00 – 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 360 Dufferin Row on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
