Obituary of Maryon M. Fisher

With her family at her side, Maryon McGoldrick Fisher passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1921 in Saint John to the late Francis and Catherine (McGoldrick) Fisher. Maryon is survived by her children: Deirdre McKinnon (Colin) of New Haven, PE and Derek Fisher (Donna) of Saint John; grandchildren: Joshua McKinnon (Ashley Savoie) and Sara McKinnon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Fisher; son, Drew Fisher and her brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will directly follow the visitation in Brenan’s Chapel with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
