Obituary of Joseph Gordon Perry

The death of Joseph Gordon Perry, of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Myrtle Jean (Allan) Perry, occurred on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was a son of the late Moses and Margaret (Amaro) Perry. Dad was a veteran of WWII and had served with the Black Watch. He was employed as a truck driver and labourer with the City of Saint John. He is survived by one son, Donald Perry (Patricia) of Saint John; four daughters, Marie Wilson (David), Shirley MacLeod (Fraser) both of Saint John, Linda Cormier (Robert) of Moncton and Nancy Dobbins (William) of Hanwell, N.B., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. To honour Dad's request there will be no funeral home visiting or service. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Friday, July 27, 2012. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB.
