Obituary of Marilyn Joyce Scribner

Marilyn Joyce Scribner of Saint John passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Brampton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Murphy) Moulton. Marilyn was a hard worker all her life, and was employed with the Loch Lomond Villa and with the Telegraph Journal. Marilyn is survived by her children, Malcolm, Jim (Kathleen Irving), David, and Diane Scribner; sisters Shirley Moulton, Linda Moulton, Phyllis Moulton, and Gail Cummings; brothers Gerald Moulton and Stephen Cogswell; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as Kathleen’s son Marcus Irving. She was predeceased by husbands Lewis Scribner and Bob Ellison; and by siblings Thelma and Herald Moulton. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
