Obituary of William Joseph Oram

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William "Bill" Joseph Oram of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Bertha (Marsh) Oram, which occurred on Friday, May 11, 2012 at his residence. Born in Saint John on May 1, 1930 he was a son of the late, William and Lena (Arsenault) Oram. Bill retired from Sears, Saint John, NB. He is survived by his children, Michael William Oram, John "Pat" Patrick (Paulette) Oram, and Mary Jane (Michael) McGrath; daughter-in-law, Janice Oram; five grandchildren, Sean, Jeremy, Danielle, Jonathon and Chantal; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Casey; three siblings, Mary Hansen, Rose (Harry) Galloway and Joan Mullen; brother-in-law, Jack (Helen) Marsh. Predeceased by his son, Daniel Oram; brother, Gerald Oram and sister, Shirley Weatherbee. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter’s Church on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
