Obituary of Elma Mae Harding

The death of Elma Mae Harding of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Francis Leo Harding, occurred on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 12, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Walsh) McTavish. All of Elma’s grandchildren were very dear to her, and she cherished her time with them. She also loved getting away to the family cottage in PEI. Elma is survived by her children: Mary Harding, John (Donna), and Andrew (Sandy); grandchildren: Rebecca, Eric, Nicholas, Allyson, and Jack; sister, Marion Downing; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
