Obituary of J. Ralph Brown

The death of J. Ralph Brown of Summerville, NB, husband of Audrey (Clapson) Brown, occurred on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. Born in Saint John on December 31, 1921 he was a son of the late Harry and Mabel (Hanson) Brown. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Ralph is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey; step-daughter, Liane (Jason) Stevens and their children, James and Max of East Sussex, England; one niece, three great nieces and two great nephews. Predeceased by his parents; step-brother, Charles Kearns and his first wife, Nancy (Barlow) Brown; sister, Bernice Hooley. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. No visitation, a private family service will take place at a later date.
