Obituary of K. Phyllis Palmer

The peaceful passing of Phyllis Palmer occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, December 21, 2009. She was born on August 19, 1921 in Waterville, NB to the late Basil and Laura May (McLean) Palmer. Phyllis served overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Dental Assistant. She is survived by one sister, Dorcas Beardsley of Kingston, ON; sister-in-law, Patricia Palmer of Saint John; three nieces: Dana Palmer (Dave Corbiere) of Saint John, Kim Turner (Rob) of Wales, UK and Nancy Daigle (Brian) of Saint John; one nephew, Brad Palmer of Saint John; four grand nieces: Tiffany Janes, Natalie and Sarah Hudon and Laura Daigle; two grand nephews: Sean and Christopher Daigle and good friends, Joyce Hamm of Saint John, and Elizabeth McKellar of Woodstock. Besides her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by two brothers: Charles and Wendell Palmer. At Phyllis’ request there will be no visitation and funeral service. A graveside service will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11 AM. For those who wish, remembrances to Canadian Feed the Children Charity would be appreciated by the family.
