Obituary of William H.A. Jardine

The death of William “Bill” Hayward Albert Jardine of Quispamsis, husband of Elizabeth Anne (Drummond) Jardine, occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at his residence. Born in Saint John on May 10, 1949, he was the son of Shirley (Hayes) Jardine of Saint John and the late Thomas Hayward Jardine. Bill was a Joiner/Carpenter with Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd. for 33 years and was presently employed with Jacob’s at the Irving Refinery. He was a member of Local 1386 and was also a past member and executive member of Local 840. Besides his loving wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Ann Grass (Hal Williams) of Rothesay and Velma Jardine of Saint John, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upham on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery following the service.
