Obituary of Michael Phillip Jimmo

The death of Michael Phillip Jimmo, husband of Florence (Stout) Jimmo, occurred on December 31, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Phillip and Thelma (Casey) Jimmo. He was employed in the lumber industry and was also a delivery driver for Parker D. Mitchell Ltd. for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by daughters Florence Sheehan (Raymond Adams) of Woodstock, NB, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Jimmo (Joseph McLeod) of Hampstead, NB, Marjorie Mills (Shane Scribbans) of Baxter’s Corner, brother Francis Jimmo of Saint John, sister Anna Bliss of California, grandchildren Eldon Jimmo, Kathleen Bouchie, Doreen Cathline, Melvin Perry, his great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His brothers Louis, Henry and Lester predeceased him. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
