Obituary of Benoit Jean DOUCET

The death of Benoit Doucet of Saint John, NB, husband of Sherry (Jeffries) Doucet, occurred on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Neguac, NB a son of the late Ben and Stella Doucet. Benoit was a labourer with Floor Fashions and had been a member of the Saint John “8” Ball League for over twenty years. Survived by his wife, Sherry; son, Brandon and step-son, Trevor Jeffries, both of Saint John; daughter, Lisa Nash of Iroquois Falls, ON; three grandchildren: Clayton, Sarah and Danielle Nash; four brothers: Edgar (Janet), Donald (Annette), Leo (Irene) and Yvon (Bernice) Doucet; nine sisters: Rita Dionne, Theresa (Peter) Bendall, Margaret O’Keefe, Alphonsina McCray, Ida (Charles) McAleenan, Yvette Doucette, Bernadette Campbell, Jeanette (Reginald) Savoie and Laura (Alvin) Russell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Robert Jeffries; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Raymond and two sisters, Dorinna Arsenault and Kathleen Doiron. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 1 pm. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
