Obituary of GERALD D LAWRENCE

The death of Gerald "Gerry" Lawrence of Stephenson Tower, Saint John, NB, occurred on Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cloverdale, NB, he was a son of the late Oliver and Elizabeth (Milton) Lawrence. Gerry was employed with Likely's as a truck driver for several years until his retirement. Survived by his former wife, Glenna McKay; his daughters, Susan Eades (Tom Starkey) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Cathy Lawrence of Centerville, Kim Lent (Don) and Shelley Lawrence both of Saint John; brother, Hayden Lawrence (Sue) of Grand Bay-Westfield; sisters, Madeline Crilley of Hoyt, NB and Verna Clark of Centerville; grandchildren, Jed Sawh, Curtis and Chris Duplessis, Brooke Eades and Michael Billings; great grandchildren, Jonathan Duplessis and Ethan Billings. Gerry is predeceased by his son: Gerry Lawrence; his brothers, Ervin, Alfred and Kenneth and his sisters, Pearl Powers and June Dalling. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 7 - 9 pm and Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 am from Brenan's Chapel. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
