Obituary of Stevon William ALDERMAN

The death of Stevon Alderman of Saint John, NB, occurred on Friday, August 11, 2006 at his late residence. Born in Toronto, ON, a son of Stephen Alderman and Nancy (Drew) Vaughn. Stevon was well known and loved in his community (the North End), by his family and at Main Street Baptist Church; he cared deeply about people and their needs and helped in any manner open to him. Survived by his parents; two brothers: Gerald Curran (Christine Johnson) of Blacks Harbour, NB and Raymond Latour of Saint John; five sisters: Linda Stewardson (Frank) of Thunder Bay, ON, Kimberly McDonough (Mark) of Saint John, Bethelda Derry (Dave Morehouse) of Saint John, Amanda and Amber Alderman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Dad, Philip Derry. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel, on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 11 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
