Obituary of Orland Taylor WADLIN

The death of Orland Taylor Wadlin of Ridgewood Veterans Wing, Saint John, NB, husband of the late Della (Fisher) Wadlin, occurred on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born February 16, 1910 in Beaver Harbour, NB, a son of the late Walter Steadman and Mary Emma (Snyder) Wadlin. Orland was a veteran of World War II, serving as Sergeant Instructor with the Provost Corp. Following the war he worked for the Sugar Refinery as a Machine Operator. Survived by his children, Sherman (Marlene) Wadlin of Beaver Harbour and Nina (Lawrence) Ewart of Saint John; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Basil. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with a memorial service from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Pennfield Anglican Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
