Obituary of GLADYS E. HALL

The death of Gladys Edna Hall of the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home, Saint John, wife of the late Seymour Hall, occurred on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence. Born in Saint John on July 4, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Stewart) Murphy. Mrs. Hall was a School Teacher for many years before her retirement, having taught in Fairfield and Little Lepreau. She is survived by two nephews, Richard Wayne (Elsie) of Saint John and David Wayne of Calgary, AB, one niece, Shirley Nightingale of Maces Bay, cousin Marie Galbraith of Saint John, as well as many great nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Elwood and Stewart Murphy. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Animal Rescue League would be appreciated.
